He is the grandson of the esteemed Ch. Malik Abdul Ghani Awan, the nephew of Prof. (R) Ejaz Hussain Awan, and the son of Malik Ilyas Awan (SI), a celebrated officer of the Punjab Police. Malik Bilal completed his early education at Jinnah Efficiency High School, Sialkot Cantt, laying a strong foundation for his academic and professional pursuits.
